what to expect at Summit Church

Welcome! We’re delighted you’re considering joining us for worship. Our service is centered on

the ordinary means of grace, through which God strengthens and nourishes His people: Word,

prayer, and sacrament. You also find our congregation cherishes robust singing and warm

fellowship.

Word

You’ll hear the Bible faithfully preached, as it is the inspired Word of God, revealing what we are to believe concerning God and what duties God requires of us.

Prayer

We come before God together in prayers of adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication, seeking His grace and guidance.

Sacraments

We observe the Lord’s Supper on a weekly basis as a visible sign and seal of God’s covenant grace. The Lord invites His disciples to His supper, keeping in mind the Scripture’s admonition in 1 Corinthians 11:27-29,

Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner

will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord. Let a person examine himself,

then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

Those partaking acknowledge their sin and their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ alone for salvation. If you question whether to partake, please speak to one of the brethren.

What about children?

Children are warmly welcomed! Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me,” and we joyfully include them in our worship.

Weekly Lunch

After the service, join us for a weekly fellowship lunch, where we share food, conversation, and community.

We look forward to worshiping with you!
